Te Awamutu Rod & Custom Club, Inc.

Te Awamutu Rod & Custom Club was formed 28 years ago(1981) in the home of local business owners Graeme and Mary Blank. We now own and share clubrooms on Albert Park Drive with the Army Cadets.
Over the last seven years our membership has increased from 35 to about 80 members. The majority of our members are in the 40 to 60 age group, but an increasing number of younger enthusiasts are joining.
Members enjoy and share in club, local, regional, and national events such as rod runs, swap meets, as well as drag racing at Champion Dragway in Meremere. Members have also enjoyed the fruits of the hobby when attending shows and rod runs throughout the country, and winning various awards at these events, including Best Represented Club at several events.

Monthly meetings are held at 8:00pm on the first Tuesday of each month at our clubrooms on Albert Park Drive, Te Awamutu. Everyone interested in hot-rodding, drag-racing, and classic cars are welcome to attend.
Meeting dates: 2nd February 2010, 2nd March 2010, 6th April 2010, 4th May 2010, and 1st June 2010.

AGM Meeting date: Sunday 30th May 2010.
